November/December Round Up
I can’t believe we are already half way thru December! Once December gets here, it is a blur of Christmas activities and winter barn chores so I am a little late in getting my November round up on the blog. Because of this I decided to combine November and December into a joint round up of all the things I discovered and loved in November with the items I currently obsessing over in December.
Dash & Lily: I completely fell in love with this holiday Netflix series! This whirlwind holiday romance centers around cynical Dash and optimistic Lily as they trade dares, dreams and desires in a notebook they pass back and forth at locations all across New York City. It is charming, sweet, uplifting and pays homage to some of my all time favorite romantic comedies. Plus it is set in New York City at Christmas which is the most magical time in the city. Well worth cozying up on the sofa and watching with a crackling fire and cup of tea!
Acure Unicorn Shimmer Conditioner: I bought this on a whim back in November because the little girl in me liked the name and I thought my own unicorns could use some of this on their dry manes and tails. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works at delivering moisture and abundant shine to my horse’s manes and tails. I used this on Dreamer’s flowing white mane and tail before the World Show and I couldn’t believe how shiny his mane and tail looked in the pen while showing. It has become a staple in my wash rack.
Joey Jemison Bridles: I made the mistake of following Joey Jemison on Instagram and now drool over his gorgeous leather work on a daily basis. A few years ago I gave Garrett one of his bridles for Christmas and now that I am riding and showing Dreamer the gorgeous bridle has become mine to use and I love getting to stare at it daily. His leather work is impeccable and gorgeous and I want all the bridles and spur straps he makes!
Capri Blue Fir and Firewood Candle: This candle smells exactly like winter and Christmas all rolled into one perfect scent. It’s fruity, green aroma of apple, clove, fir, pine needle, white birch, cedar, vetiver, and smokey wood fills your room with the intoxicating scent of a cold winter night cozied up by the fire.
Mother The High Waisted Looker Skinny Jeans: I lived in Mother’s Cropped Ankle Flare jeans all spring and summer and so when cold weather rolled around I invested in a pair of their skinny jeans to wear with boots and I can honestly say I love them as much as the crop flares. Mother is known for using super soft, stretchy denim in fashion forward yet flattering styles. It takes a lot to get this girl out of leggings and into jeans and these do the trick!
Platinum Performance Immune Support: Platinum makes some of the best horse vitamins and supplements and when Hazel was diagnosed with EPM I knew immediately that I wanted her to go on their Immune Support to help her immune system fight the EPM. This supplement provides passive and active immune support to any horse fighting any kind of sickness and really works in helping them get healthy. I highly recommend using it any time your horse is fighting any kind of illness or to boost their immune system before they take a trip and go to a horse show.
RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek: I got a sample of this with a Credo Beauty order and used every bit of the sample and then promptly ordered the full size. It is a multitasking natural, blendable cream formula that provides hydration and sublime, buildable color to enhance both lips and cheeks. It gives your cheeks the perfect flush of color that mimics the pink glow you get from being out in the cold. It is the perfect cosmetic product to brighten up your face in the dreary winter months. It is also clean and free from toxic ingredients.
Touchland Hand Sanitizer: This is hands down my favorite hand sanitizer because it is super portable and easy to use. It is a hydrating, fast absorbing, lightly scented mist that sanitizes your hands with a few spritzes. It’s rectangular flat shape fits into purses, pockets and your car cup holders. Did I mention it does not dry your hands out!
