All Hail Haala Denim
As I mentioned in a past post (My Favorite Riding Jeans), I am not a huge fan of most traditional western wear riding jeans and often turn to my favorite non-western, designer denim companies for my riding jeans. But that has changed with the introduction of Haala Denim.
Haala Denim marries the need for performance riding jeans with designer denim style. Their jeans are stylish and well-made with a designer-like attention to fit and proportion. They use premium ring-spun denim with performance stretch, which means that they stretch and move with you, but donβt stretch out. They never get baggy and hold their shape throughout the day. I can attest to this because they are my favorite jeans to show in and have worn them at horse shows from 6am-10pm and they looked they same as they did when I first put them on (thru riding, showing and all the barn chores).
My favorite style is the Westerly Straight Leg (the straight leg, fits nicely under chaps for showing and also elongates my short legs). They also make Bootcut, Skinny and Flare styles. The Straight Leg and Bootcut have a perfect 9 1/4 inch mid rise that is flattering as well as comfortable in the saddle. The Skinny and Flare styles have higher 10 inch rises. Haala jeans come in a wide range of waist (24-32) and length (32-36) sizes so you can get the perfect fit. They are definitely priced on the higher end ($189-$215) but they are so worth it, the quality is exceptional.
Give them a try the next time you need some fierce looking riding jeans! Available at haaladenim.com.
